Ideal Candidate:
Our ideal Data Cabling Supervisor will be able to run installation jobs as well as being fully competent working with paperwork. Surveys, risk assessments and work packs will all need completing. Before starting on site there will be a 3-week training programme to ensure you are fully prepared. This is a nationwide role so you must be open to working away from home.
Duties:
Our ideal Supervisor will be able to complete the following tasks:- Site surveys and reports pre-install
- Installations of APs (internal and external), Switches & Room Units.
- Comms room installation and patching
- Snagging
- Testing and commissioning of equipment and services.
- Completion of Work packs for snagging items.
- Great communications skills and stakeholder management.
Candidate qualifications and attributes
- ECS/CSCS Card - Essential
- Site Supervisor Qualification
- Health and Safety Experience including entry level requirements
- Proven background managing small teams of engineers
- Experience in delivering projects on time and to specification
- Proven Networking background
- Will possess a complete set of own hand and power tools required for the role
- Van or vehicle
- Candidates must be able to provide references
- Candidates must be able to provide examples of similar works completed
