1. About these terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Bauhaus Recruitment website.

The website is operated by Bauhaus Consultants Ltd, trading as Bauhaus Recruitment, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 04876847.

In these terms, references to “Bauhaus”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Bauhaus Consultants Ltd. References to “you” and “your” mean any person accessing or using the website.

By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, you should not use the website.

These terms apply only to the use of the website. They do not govern the provision of recruitment services, any introduction, employment, engagement or assignment, or the relationship between Bauhaus and a candidate, contractor, client, supplier or other business.

Those matters are governed by any separate terms of business, candidate or contractor terms, assignment documentation, key information document or other agreement that applies. If there is any conflict between these Terms of Use and a separate agreement with Bauhaus, the separate agreement will prevail in relation to that matter.

2. Using the website

The website is provided for candidates seeking employment or contract opportunities, existing and prospective clients, Bauhaus staff and other visitors interested in our recruitment services and industry content.

You may use the website only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

• use the website in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation;
• provide false, inaccurate, misleading or fraudulent information;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, qualifications, experience or authority;
• use the website to transmit unlawful, defamatory, abusive, threatening, discriminatory or otherwise objectionable material;
• upload or transmit viruses, malware or any other harmful code;

3. Candidate accounts

You do not need to register to browse the website, view vacancies or submit a general CV. You may, however, be required to register and create an account in order to apply for a particular vacancy or use certain candidate services.

When creating or using an account, you must:

• provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information;
• create an account only for yourself unless you have clear authority to act for someone else;
• keep your username, password and other login details confidential;
• take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access to your account; and
• notify us promptly if you believe that your account or login details have been accessed or used without permission.

You are responsible for activity carried out through your account where that activity results from your failure to take reasonable care of your login details.

We may suspend or close an account where:

• false, misleading or fraudulent information has been provided;
• the account has been used unlawfully or in breach of these terms;
• we reasonably suspect unauthorised or fraudulent access;
• the account creates a security risk;
• the account has remained inactive for an extended period; or
• we cease to provide the relevant account facility.

Closing an account does not necessarily require us to delete information that we are entitled or required to retain. Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. CVs, applications and other information submitted

Candidates may submit CVs, job applications, registration information and other details through the website.

Information submitted through candidate forms or accounts is provided privately to Bauhaus. It is not made publicly available through the website.

You are responsible for ensuring that information you submit is accurate, complete and not misleading.

You must not submit:

• a CV or application that falsely represents your qualifications, employment history, experience, identity, right to work or availability;
• another person’s CV or personal information unless you have their permission and lawful authority to do so;
• confidential information that you are not entitled to disclose;
• material that infringes another person’s intellectual property, privacy or other legal rights; or
• malware or any other harmful or unlawful material.

Submitting a CV or application does not guarantee that:

• Bauhaus will contact you;
• you will be registered as a candidate;
• you will be considered or submitted for a particular opportunity;
• you will be interviewed by Bauhaus or a client;
• you will be offered employment or an assignment; or
• any particular role will remain available.

We may decline, remove or disregard information that is incomplete, inaccurate, unlawful, irrelevant, duplicated or otherwise unsuitable for our recruitment services.

5. Vacancies and recruitment information

Vacancies displayed on the website are published and managed by Bauhaus. Clients, employers and third-party recruiters do not independently publish vacancies through the public website.

Some vacancy information may be based on details supplied to us by a client or prospective client.

We take reasonable care when preparing and publishing vacancy information. However:

• vacancies may be changed, placed on hold, filled, cancelled or withdrawn at any time;
• rates, salaries, working arrangements, locations, start dates, durations and other details may change;
• a vacancy may no longer be available by the time an application is received or considered;
• publication of a vacancy does not confirm that the client will proceed with the requirement; and
• an advertisement does not constitute an offer of employment, an offer of an assignment or a contractual commitment by Bauhaus or any client.

Candidates should verify all material details before accepting employment, an engagement or an assignment.

Bauhaus is not responsible for employment or engagement decisions made by a client. However, this does not affect any legal responsibility Bauhaus may have in providing its recruitment services.

6. Client and business enquiries

Clients and prospective clients may use the website to obtain information about our services and to contact us about recruitment requirements.

Information on the website does not constitute a binding offer to provide recruitment services.

Recruitment services are subject to separate terms of business or another written agreement between Bauhaus and the relevant client.

A client’s submission of an enquiry or vacancy requirement through the website does not require Bauhaus to accept or work on that requirement.

7. Website content

The content of the website is provided for general information only.

Although we take reasonable care to keep website content accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that all content is complete, current or free from errors.

11. Website availability and security

• an applicant is not selected, interviewed, introduced, employed or engaged;
• a client changes or withdraws a recruitment requirement;
• the website is unavailable or affected by a technical fault;
• an application, CV, enquiry or communication is delayed, incomplete, corrupted or not received;
• website information is out of date or contains an unintentional error; or
• you rely on general website content without obtaining appropriate advice or confirming material information.

Where you use the website in the course of a business, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Bauhaus will not be liable for:

• loss of profit, revenue or anticipated savings;
• loss of business, contracts or opportunity;
• business interruption;
• loss or corruption of data; or
• any indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms affects any rights or remedies you may have under a separate agreement with Bauhaus or under applicable law.

13. Your responsibility for submitted information

You are responsible for ensuring that information and material you submit through the website is accurate, lawful and does not infringe the rights of another person.

You must not submit another person’s CV, personal information or other material unless you have their authority to do so.

You may be responsible for losses reasonably incurred by Bauhaus as a direct result of:

• your fraudulent submission of information;
• your knowing infringement of another person’s intellectual property, privacy or other legal rights; or
• a serious or deliberate breach of these terms.

This provision does not make an individual responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been anticipated or that were caused by Bauhaus.
