Data Cabling Engineer

Data Cabling Engineers Required – Cambridge

Bauhaus Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Data Cabling Engineers for an installation project in Cambridge.

The role will involve installing, terminating and dressing Cat6a cabling to a high standard. Engineers must be confident producing neat, well-organised cable looms and delivering a professional finish throughout the installation.

The Role

You will be working as part of an experienced installation team, with duties including:

• Installing Cat6a data cabling

• Cable pulling, routing and containment work

• Terminating Cat6a outlets and patch panels

• Looming and dressing cables neatly

• Labelling and testing completed installations

• Working from drawings and installation schedules

• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and health and safety

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• Previous experience working as a Data Cabling Engineer

• Strong Cat6a installation and termination experience

• Excellent cable looming and dressing skills

• Valid ECS or CSCS card

• Valid IPAF licence

• Own tools and PPE

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• A reliable and professional approach to work

Start: Immediate
Payment: Weekly
