Job Title: Fibre Engineer – Education Site (3-Week Contract)
Location: South Manchester Area
Contract Length: 3 Weeks
Sector: Fibre Optic / Structured Cabling / Education
Rate: Competitive Day Rate (DOE)
Start Date: ASAPWe’re looking for an experienced Fibre Engineer for a 3-week contract working on a school site in the South Manchester area. The role involves internal fibre optic installation, splicing, testing, and patching across multiple buildings.
Key Duties:
- Install and splice fibre optic cabling
- Test, terminate, and label connections
- Work safely within a live school environment
- Support a small team or work solo as needed
Requirements:
- Fibre installation and splicing experience
- ECS/CSCS card preferred
- Own tools, splicer (nice to have but not essential, my client can supply the splicer)
- Ideal for a fibre engineer between projects or looking for short-term work on a well-run site.
