Bauhaus Recruitment are currently resourcing for Fibre Engineers for permanent positions in Slough and London

Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and plan fibre-optic networks based on customer requirements
  • Install and terminate fibre-optic cables and equipment
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting to ensure network performance and reliability
  • Provide technical support to customers and team members
  • Data Centres and various other sites
  • Some working Abroad
  • Completion of associated Paperwork
  • Working to deadlines and to ensure tasks are completed to specification
  • Create and understand site specific Risk Assessments
  • Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure installation meets their needs

Candidate qualifications and attributes
  • ECS/CSCS Card
  • 3+ years of experience in fibre-optic network design and installation
  • Strong knowledge of fibre-optic technologies and standards
  • Experience with OTDR, power meters, and other testing equipment
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites
  • Will be organised and able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Will present a positive company image.
  • Able to work with schedules and diagrams
  • Basic I.T. and networking skills
  • Candidates must be able to provide references
