Bauhaus Recruitment are currently resourcing for Fibre Engineers for permanent positions in Slough and London

Job Description
Key Responsibilities

Design and plan fibre-optic networks based on customer requirements
Install and terminate fibre-optic cables and equipment
Perform testing and troubleshooting to ensure network performance and reliability
Provide technical support to customers and team members
Data Centres and various other sites
Some working Abroad
Completion of associated Paperwork
Working to deadlines and to ensure tasks are completed to specification
Create and understand site specific Risk Assessments
Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure installation meets their needs

Candidate qualifications and attributes

ECS/CSCS Card
3+ years of experience in fibre-optic network design and installation
Strong knowledge of fibre-optic technologies and standards
Experience with OTDR, power meters, and other testing equipment
Strong communication and customer service skills
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites
Will be organised and able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
Will present a positive company image.
Able to work with schedules and diagrams
Basic I.T. and networking skills
Candidates must be able to provide references
