Description

Bauhaus Recruitment are currently resourcing looking for a Project Engineer for a long-term contract role in Portsmouth

Main Responsibilities of the candidate include:
The successful candidate will oversee small teams of engineers on a large installation project at Portsmouth Dockyard. This is comprised of the following types of external and internal installations.

Data cabling infrastructure
Fibre optic cabling
Containment

The Project Engineers responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Overseeing teams and quality checking installation work
Tool box talks
Reviewing and handing out RAMS
Completing various project paper work
Ordering various materials from suppliers
To ensure that the project(s) are delivered in accordance with company and customer processes, procedures, and statutory obligations.
To operate at all times with regard to the Health & Safety of employees and third parties, ensuring consistency with company and statutory obligations.
To professionally represent the company at all times, protecting the company assets and its reputation.
To ensure efficient use of labour from resource pools, using operations wide tools and processes
To perform any other tasks as may be requested by the job holder's line manager.
To ensure that necessary generic and project specific processes are used.

Qualifications and Experience:

ECS/CSCS Card
SC level clearance (if expired must not be more than 12 months)
Demonstrated experience managing small teams of engineers
Applicable knowledge of how to work to JSP standards
