The Role:
We are currently resourcing for Network Engineers for long term remote working contract positions. The position will be for a minimum 6-month period (more likely 12) and extensions are likely due to the volume of high level of demand expected.
Successful candidates will join our clients Global Design and Delivery Team. The team is responsible for all project related change activity on the network, and performs such change for every BU globally.
These changes include but are not restricted to:- Routing and Switching
- Firewall
- F5 Load Balancer
- WiFi
- Proxy
As the network is being used by all infrastructure across the clients services the majority of projects will require the team to implement a level of change at varied stages of their project.
Schedule
Successful candidates will be required to work a standard weekday schedule and allow for some flexibility in working out of hours and weekends to support change implementations where required.
Ideal candidate- Experience working within a large organization supporting network solutions or design.
- Demonstrated experience consolidating end to end solutions from several sources
- Detailed understanding of various Cisco, Juniper, F5 or Fortinet products (1 vendor minimum)
- 5+ years’ experience in designing, implementing or supporting complex networks.
- Detailed technical understanding in 1 or more of the below technologies.
- Cisco Routing and Switching (Cisco ACI, NXOS, Arista, ASR, CSR, CSP)
- Juniper Routing and Switching
- F5 Load Balancers (LTM and GTM)
- Fortigate Firewalls
- Juniper Firewalls
- Cisco Wireless
- Bluecoat / Symantec Proxy
