We are currently resourcing for CAD Technician on a permanent basis in Central London.
Ideal candidate
IT operations are a crucial aspect of all organisations and it is crucial that that business continuity is maintained at all times at the same time as allowing the ongoing upgrade of the voice and data infrastructure. This is a great opportunity to work within a leading technology consultancy. As the CAD Technician you will be required to:- Responsible for providing CAD and software support throughout all the business sectors
- To liaise with clients and architects to carry out design changes.
- To accurately apply predefined Design / CAD standards to Architectural drawings on multiple projects
- The production of detailed IT/AV or Security Drawings such as Floor Plans, Schematics,
- Working as part of a CAD team based in London
- Primarily working within Production / Design Team
- Liaise with all staff and external companies as required, providing accurate information
Candidate qualifications and attributes
- Proficient in use of AutoCAD (with at least 3 years’ experience)
- Experience of working on either IT, AV or Security drawings
- Experience working to design instruction as well as markups for at least one of the following
- technology packages – Passive Infrastructure, Audio Visual, Physical Security
- Experience attending and participating in coordination meetings
- Computer literate
- Experience of clash detection software is desirable
- Extremely proficient in the use of AutoCAD up to version 2020
- Extremely proficient in the use of Revit 2018 and later versions
- Experience using BIM 360 is desirable
- Experience using Bluebeam is desirable
- Experience using Microsoft products – Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint.
- Experience using Adobe Acrobat Pro
