- We are currently resourcing for a Design Engineer with experience in Structured Cabling & Security Systems for a permanent role in London.

Ideal Candidate
Bauhaus Recruitment are looking for a Technical Design Engineer with a proven ability to design large integrated cabling & security systems. Main duties include:- Working on existing drawings & schematics for a large structured cabling system
- Be responsible for the design throughout the life of the project from the initial enquiry to handover / acceptance.
- Take the Lead Technical role throughout the detailed design phase
- Drawing works, 4Projects document control, attending design meetings & co-ordination with client / main contractor / consultant & design support for the on-site construction team.
- Identify, Manage and control change
- Develop designs to meet the requirement of the project specification and in accordance with the contract.
- As the project continues, there will be a requirement to assist with pricing new packages & variations & co-ordinating new instructions into the design.
Requirements- Experience in Structured Cabling
- Good working knowledge of MS office - Word, Excel
- Experience with AutoCAD –
- Experience with MS Projects
- Must possess strong commercial acumen & excellent Design abilities
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
