Description
Bauhaus are currently resourcing for a Data Engineer with a laptop for evening work in North and East London for the installation and migration of new routers in retail stores.
 
Role and Responsibilities
  • Installation and rack mount routers
  • All required patching
  • Call technical support to initiate migration
  • Follow directions from tech support to perform validation checks on POS, printers, telephones etc.
  • All required labelling
  • Complete job reporting with photographs and store sign off
 
If tech support has trouble with the migration you may be asked to connect your laptop so they can remote in to log onto the router. You will not be asked to do anything technical.
 
Requirements
  • Experience in the installation of routers and servers
  • Experience in patching new servers
  • Own laptop
  • Basic hand tools and drills.
