- Bauhaus Recruitment are currently resourcing for Data Cabling Engineers for permanent positions in Slough and London
Job Description
Successful candidates will be required for work on the installation of a new network of structured cabling infrastructure and the associated cabling and containment on various sites.- Installation, termination of data cabling network infrastructure
- Data Centres and various other sites
- Working Abroad
- Some out of hours work.
- Installing Containment
- Installation of AP and other devices
- Completion of associated Paperwork
- Working to deadlines and to ensure tasks are completed to specification
- Create and understand site specific Risk Assessments
- Maintain regular contact with customers to ensure installation meets their needs
Package- £30,000 - £35,000 per annum – Negotiable dependant on experience

Candidate qualifications and attributes- ECS/CSCS Card
- Experience in the installation, termination, and testing of data cable
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working on data cabling installation projects
- Will be organised and able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Will present a positive company image.
- Able to work with schedules and diagrams
- Basic I.T. and networking skills
- Skilled to work with a large range of hand and power tools to assemble wiring and telecoms equipment
- Will possess a complete set of own hand and power tools required for the role
- Candidates must be able to provide references
