Job Description
IT operations are a crucial aspect of all organisations and it is crucial that that business continuity is maintained at all times at the same time as allowing the ongoing upgrade of the voice and data infrastructure in commercial and residential settings. Junior Data Engineer will perform and receive training including the below tasks- Installation of cat5e, cat6 and fibre cabling in various environments
- Termination and testing of data cables
- Installation of containment
- Working in small teams to complete projects
- Basic training certifications in working at height, ladder training, asbestos awareness and
Candidate qualifications and attributes- Experience preferred but not essential as full training can be provided
- Happy to meet up with other engineers in order to travel to site
- Driving Licence – preferred
- Will be organised and able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communications skills used to build a rapport with people at all levels
- Will present a positive company image.
- Will provide a timely, polite and efficient service.
- Punctual and reliable
- Basic computer literacy
- Able to work away from home when required
