Our clients require experienced cabling engineers from a data centre environment to work closely with our customers in resolving requirements, faults, moves and changes
Ideal candidate
IT operations are a crucial aspect of all organisations and it is crucial that that business continuity is maintained at all times at the same time as allowing the ongoing upgrade of the voice and data infrastructure. Our ideal Data Engineer will have the experience of the following:
Key Responsibilities:- Installation of cabled network infrastructures
- Moves and changes
- Installation of fibre and copper cabling systems
- Working to patch schedules for server hardware and switches
- Technical support and troubleshooting
- Racking and Stacking
Candidate qualifications and attributes
- 1-2 years’ experience working within a datacentre or other critical environment.
- Experience working towards deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated experience using various databases such as MS Office.
- Excellent problem-solving skills whilst working under pressure
- Highly organized with ability to meet strict deadlines
- Flexible to cover shift engineer absence and potential dedicated engineer resource per customer demand as required.
