Ideal candidate
IT operations are a crucial aspect of all organisations and it is crucial that business continuity is maintained at all times at the same time as allowing the ongoing upgrade of the voice and data infrastructure. Our ideal Operations Manager will have the experience of the following:- Oversees multiple Projects in the North East and the Project Managers and Site Managers tasked with delivery
- Ensure that sufficient resources are available to deliver customer requirements within the required timescales.
- Maintaining accurate project information
- P+L responsibility including revenue and margin
- Managing contract negotiation and pricing
- Develop and maintain long term relationships with new and existing clients
- Evaluate and redesign project offerings in line with business strategy
- Effectively communicates relevant practice information to superiors.
- Work closely with the project team to manage client requests effectively and within agreed SLAs
Experience
- 5+ years working in the structured cabling industry at project management level
- Demonstrated experience overseeing multiple projects and Project Managers
- Effective in organising multi skilled teams
- Extensive experience in project delivery processes
- Extensive experience in project contract scope and deliverables
